NATIONAL GREEN PANEL
The “CDRS National Green Panel” is
comprised of Construction-Knowledgeable ADR Specialists who have a
special expertise related to green building or remodeling. That
expertise can include a knowledge of energy issues, conservation of
resources, environmental sustainability, indoor air quality, green
building materials, green building practices, carbon-neutral
construction, sustainable construction and other related green building
and remodeling specializations. CDRS has Specialists who are RESNET
Raters, HERS Raters, VOC Testers, conduct blower door tests and forensic
experience related to green issues and other special testing processes
related to green building. Our Green Specialists are either trained and
experienced mediators and/or arbitrators or are capable of serving as
green experts in green disputes that come before arbitrators, judges or
juries. Green Building is so new that very few if any arbitrators or
judges will have any knowledge of green building issues so the best and
most convincing presentation will probably be the “winner” in a green
related dispute, not necessarily who is right or wrong.
CDRS is committed to providing all
parties involved in a green-related dispute, with a green-knowledgeable
mediator or arbitrator so that the outcome of a mediation or arbitration
should be based on knowledge as opposed to being based on the best and
most convincing presentation only. CDRS highly recommends that all
contractors who build or remodel and incorporate green building or
remodeling in their construction will specify CDRS as the mediation
and/or arbitration provider in their construction contracts to assure
that they will have a green-knowledgeable mediator or arbitrator
conducting the dispute resolution process specified to settle their
disputes.

of the Green Panel Member. Please feel free to contact CDRS if you
should have a need for an ADR Specialist, expert or tester who has a
specific green expertise as CDRS has a data bank of information on all
of our ADR Specialists. If
you are in any way involved in providing green design, green
services such as a rater or verifier, are a green builder/remodeler, or
provide any other materials or services related to green construction,
